We use simple, natural ingredients like flour, water, yeast and malt to make great-tasting, healthy bagels. All of our bagels are baked daily at our Pembroke, Foxborough and Scituate locations. Our delicious, traditional New York-style bagels typically have fewer than 200 calories and are low in fat and cholesterol.
Besides our extraordinary bagels, we also offer micro-roasted specialty coffees, a full line of espresso beverages, and a delicious assortment of baked goods and pastries and wholesome, custom-made sandwiches. As a convenience to our patrons, we also provide free wireless internet service at all of our locations.
In addition to our in-cafe options, we also offer a full range of customized catering services.
OurStory
Gunther Tootie’s owner, Tony Chen, migrated from China in 1998. He first worked in his cousin’s bagel shop in New York, then became owner of the Stoughton Chinese food restaurant Chef King.
Chen purchased the Gunther Tootie’s chain based out of Pembroke in 2006. He subsequently expanded to Duxbury, Plymouth, Quincy and most recently to Foxborough and Scituate. The original Pembroke location and Scituate location feature a drive thru window for our customers’ convenience.
